What are standing seam clips used for?
Standing seam clips secure metal sheets to the roof structure while remaining concealed underneath the seam. Fixed clips hold the sheet in position, while sliding clips allow longitudinal movement as the metal expands and contracts due to temperature changes.

One particularly unusual clip in our range is the SM-ESL38 NATO, a stainless steel sliding clip developed for 38 mm high double-lock standing seams.
It was originally developed and technically assessed for a special roofing application at the NATO Headquarters in Brussels. Made from stainless steel 1.4401 / AISI 316, the SM-ESL38 was designed specifically for this unusual standing seam geometry. The project documentation identifies the SM-ESL38 for a 38 mm seam and specifies its dimensions and material.
