On May 15, 2026, we celebrate 75 years of Dräco and for us, it’s more than just an anniversary. It’s a piece of history, a reason to look back, marvel, and be grateful.
It all began in 1949 in a small laundry room in Reichenbach with an idea, a drill attachment, and the courage to create something of our own. In 1951, this became the Max Draenert Apparatebau company, and since then, much has happened: from handcrafted work to machines, from a vision to a company known today in over 60 countries.
In between lie decades full of innovation, commitment, and passion. Each generation has contributed, from the pioneering spirit of the early years to the digitization of our modern production. Through it all, we have stayed true to our principles: quality, functionality, and closeness to the user.
Our industry is constantly evolving: sustainability, digitalization, and new materials are shaping the craft and metalworking of tomorrow. Yet one thing remains unchanged: the ambition to develop good tools for skilled hands.
We are proud of what has been and curious about what lies ahead.
Because 75 years of Dräco do not mean standing still, they mean momentum.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey, employees, partners, and customers worldwide. Without you, this anniversary would not exist.
